About us Our Pattaya Aikikai Aikido is a group of Aikidoka who are gathering at the dojo 4 times a week to practice Aikido together. Pattaya Aikikai Aikido is acknowledged by Aikido Association of Thailand (AAT) in Bangkok (Motohiro Fukakusa Shihan) and is therefore qualified to do Kyu and Dan grading through the AAT. Our Class We are having mixed nationalities during the classes and very often visitors from overseas visiting our dojo during their holidays. Therefore all of our classes are held, mainly, in English and Thai. The class is usually led by our head instructor Takao Hattori Shihan from Japan who is holding a 6 Dan degree in Aikikai Aikido and 7th Dan in Toho Iai. We usually don’t separate children or beginner Aikidokas from each others so that everyone can enjoy Aikido at the same time and also develop their skills from different levels.
